Advisor Attestation of Client Instructions

Spire Compliance has enhanced the current Advisor’s Attestation of Client Instructions to include First Party Wires, Initial Standing Instructions and Update Standing Instructions. As of May 12, 2025, the new Advisor’s Attestation of Client Instructions will be required for all first and third party wires, initial standing Instructions and updates made to existing standing instructions. The form will require an authorized representative to verbally confirm the request and that representative records the confirmation in writing.

In addition, Spire Operations will call all 3rd Party transactions to confirm the request.  Please review the Desktop Guide for further instructions.

The main reason for this enhancement is to prevent suspicious activity through electronic communications and updates made directly with the custodian.
